Since no one has been able to tell me who Sandra's manager is (Sandra is an African American woman long braded hair, tall, about mid 40's, weared full black clothing who identified herself as a supervisor seems to be security), I hope this message reaches the appropriate manager. My daughter and I attended the 7:00 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. open swim session. The pool staff kindly informed everyone when it was 8:50 p.m., and we headed to the courtesy shower rooms to rinse off before leaving. While I was showering my daughter, I heard a woman outside yelling loudly as if there was a fight. I ignored it because I was focused on finishing up and getting my daughter ready. A few minutes later, the same woman began pounding aggressively on the glass door while screaming. She was hitting the door so forcefully that it sounded like she was trying to break it, even though my daughter and I were still inside getting dressed. I did not feel safe opening the door because I had no idea how someone behaving that aggressively might react. I waited until I heard another person outside before leaving the room. Our family loves this center for indoor swimming. We go here a couple of times a month. You need to check in 15-20 min before they have one swim to secure your spot. They do get full. The new bathroom/dressing rooms are really nice, with wet and dry saunas, plenty of lockers and private restrooms. It's clean and the staff is nice. My little ones being 4 & 6 love this indoor pool.

Generally a pretty wide variety of options to work out...not massive but pretty good. Some issues with equipment/infrastructure out of order on occasion, but when a facility has lots of usage that is going to happen. Parking is hit or miss. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes there are no spaces. Some class4s are well attenc attended and the parking is always more difficult then. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wish the newly remodeled locker room had full size lockers and better drainage as the floors can be a bit slick. Overall pleased as there are all ages/sizes and I don't see the judgment that is sometimes at workout facilities.

Our family recently visited Federal Way Community Center, and we had such an amazing experience that I felt compelled to share. If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and family-friendly place to spend quality time with your children, this is truly one of the best spots in the area. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and well-maintained the facility is. Everything is thoughtfully designed with families in mind. The indoor pool area is especially wonderful—bright, inviting, and perfectly kept. The water temperature was just right, making it comfortable for both children and adults to enjoy for hours. My child had an absolutely fantastic time in the aquatic play area. The splash zone, water features, and kid-friendly slides kept them entertained the entire visit. Watching their face light up with excitement and laughter was priceless. It’s such a joy to find a place where children can play freely, safely, and happily. What stood out most to me was how family-oriented the entire environment feels. We had an excellent tour today with Calvin. We were very pleased with what we saw as we are looking at moving to Federal Way and want to stop by here to get the vibe for the area. Calvin did a wonderful job explaining the facility and how people are using the amenities. This really was a positive aspect to our concerning a federal way as the location for our new home.
